Loggos Travel Information
Picturesque village, the smallest of Paxos, full of olive trees and pines with many traditional taverns and bars. Only 5km from Gaios village and inhabited by 200 people. At the port you will find many taverns, famous for their delicious traditional cuisine and their impeccable and friendly service. Here you can rent a small boat to explore the nearby beaches or take one of the tour boats that make several trips, daily, to the beaches or simply tour the island and admire the magnificent west coast of Paxos and the amazing, underwater caves.
Remarkably interesting are the frescoes inside the church of Zoodochos Pigi that have been reported since 1739. At the end of the village lies the old Anemogiannis’ factory, next to the primary school. From Loggos you can start exploring the trails of the island, crossing olive groves, villages, passing in front of the old soap factory and end up in the old mill, where you should have a moment and admire the magnificent sunset views. There are, also, coastal paths you can take and end up in the harbor, the best place to enjoy your coffee or dinner.
Logos has become the cultural center of Paxos and every year hosts a classical music festival, usually at the first days of September, as well as other musical events that offer great entertainment both to residents and visitors. In addition, you can find many bars and restaurants, both traditional and modern, with excellent service and a range variety of products to meet your expectations.
